Blake Alexander Hewitt
Blake Hewitt’s practice is concentrated in appellate litigation. This includes preparing briefs and delivering oral arguments in cases where BNTD has been hired to handle the appeal, as well as advising other attorneys on briefing and oral argument strategies.
Blake served as a law clerk for Judge Joseph F. Anderson, Jr., of the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina, and before that service, as a law clerk and legislative liaison for Chief Justice Jean Hoefer Toal of the Supreme Court of South Carolina. He is licensed to practice law in South Carolina, the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Blake is a 2001 graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology and a 2005 graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law. He loves the Gamecocks, but he loves the Yellow Jackets and the Rambling Wreck significantly more.
